Building with wood – Path to the future I Berlin

A fascinating exhibition on the current building culture focused on wood – the natural, renewable resource.

With international and national projects, the exhibition presents ecologically sustainable and actual positions in modern wood architecture.

Spectacular projects, contemporary urban wooden dwellings, and the latest trends in timber construction, at a new incredible standard, are presented in large format models, plans, text and photographs.

The exhibition is curated by Prof. Hermann Kaufmann in cooperation with Prof. Winfried Nerdinger from the Technical University of Munich. It is being carried out in cooperation with the German Architecture Center DAZ in Berlin and supported by the DBU Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt, DHWR Deutsche Holzwirtschaftsrat e. V., the GdW Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies e. V., the Bavarian carpentry and timber construction industry, proHolz Bavaria and the Bavarian State Forests AöR.
