In principle, the location of the existing swimming pool building is correct. A building at this point manages to form a clear demarcation to the nearby village street, and to record the alternation in the terrain. We therefore proposes to place the new building on this site as well. This preserves the old main entrance situation directly from the village street, however the visitor will be received in a very different manner. They enter the bathroom via a spacious terrace upstairs where they can take in an overview, reaching the changing areas via ramp or stairs.

The spacious terrace is also used as a well maintained social space. The basement contains, in addition to the necessary technical rooms, changing areas and play areas. The building adjoins the sunbathing area on the southeast side, so the terraces have a very direct and uncomplicated connection to the sunbathing areas. From the parking lot, it is also possible to reach the entrance area via an accessible ramp system. The base is proposed in a massive construction, the bathroom side facing wall is designed in a rough stamped concrete. On this concrete pedestal sits a very light and partly transparent timber building, which takes on task as well the surrounding landscape.
