This year the materialPREIS was awarded to architects, interior designers, planners and designers who use qualitative, innovative or visionary material in their projects.
More than 200 entries competed for the first award in the new categories. The diversity and high quality of the projects illustrates perfectly how creativity and material competence are stimulating each other.
When receiving the first place award in the specialist category of Hybrid, the Jury at the materialPREIS 2015 said of the IZM:
“The project was convincing with its outstanding material competence and high-quality implementation.”
