Symposium for Architects, Planners and Civil Engineers: DETAIL Congress 2019: “Perspective Land – Forecasts, Planning, Projects”
Wednesday, October 16, 2019 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (followed by Get Together until 9:00 pm)
Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart
Life in the countryside has a future. Space, functioning infrastructure and employment make rural and suburban living attractive. In order to further strengthen the positive trends in these areas, different players and tools are needed. This is reflected in the form of new housing models and mobility concepts. Here, especially the building culture is a catalyst for the strengthening of rural regions.
Under the title “Perspective on Land – Forecasts, Planning, Projects”, the all-day DETAIL Congress on October 16, 2019 at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart deals with aspects of regional development that set the course for the future of rural areas. Among other things, it deals with the topics of building with timber and new forms of living.
In addition to well-known planners, top-class personalities from architecture and research shed light on the topic from different perspectives. Building projects are presented and solutions and reference projects are shown that represent and reflect upon the critical subject of “rural space”. The experts explain the context of change, trends and their position on the future of rural areas. DI Christoph Dünser will give a lecture entitled “Schraubenwerk Gaisbach – Laubholz extrem”.
