On April 24 the 7th Vorarlberger Hypo-Bauherrenpreis took place, and we can proudly announce that IZM, Illwerke Zentrum Montafon, received the Hypo-Bauherrenpreis 2015, in the category of ‘Commercial Building’. To support the awards there will be an exhibition at the vai Vorarlberger Architektur Institut that will display all the projects until 25 July. It will also provide an overview of half a decade of Baukultur in Vorarlberg.
The 7th Vorarlberger Hypo-Bauherrenpreis awards innovative contemporary architecture. The award underscores the importance of quality, sustainable construction and planning for society and the environment. It is jointly awarded to builders and planners.
The organisational partner is the vai, Vorarlberger Architektur Institut. Hypo Landesbank Vorarlberg is the country’s largest mortgage lender and, with this prize, honours the achievements of committed builders who, with their successful buildings, make important contributions to the building culture of the state. Every five years, the Vorarlberger-Hypo Bauherrenpreis is awarded. The focus is on the combined commitment and expertise of builders and architects, making good, sound construction and great architecture possible.
