Due to the high quality of the submissions, two Energy Globe Awards have been granted this year. Morscher Construction and the project management, by our team, received awards for Vorarlberg’s most energy efficient housing complex. The residence in Langenegg produces more energy than it consumes, and it was also the first building in Vorarlberg which was certified with passive house plus standard.
The housing complex demonstrates that perfectly optimised energy efficiency, and high-quality ecological construction can be implemented at affordable, local rates. A building that generates more clean energy than it needs to operate is an important step in the right direction, according to this year’s award’s jury.
