The international prize for sustainable renovation and building in the Alps “Constructive Alps” spans international borders. The awards are part of the larger Alpine Convention and aims to offer ‘food for thought’ about alpine life and living.
Switzerland and Liechtenstein are holding the “Constructive Alps” international architecture competition for the fifth time. The international jury has nominated 28 projects from 328 submissions, including our “Haus Mitanand” project in Bezau, which is an excellent example of carbon conscious renovation and construction in the Alps.
The jury will decide which projects will be awarded prizes in the architecture competition by autumn. And the public can also evaluate the projects. For the first time there is an award for the public favourite. Here you will find the 28 projects nominated for “Constructive Alps” 2020.
