A jury consisting of the top management, representatives of the county council, and members of the management of the Landesgartenschau Überlingen 2020 GmbH have chosen our architectural office Hermann Kaufmann + Partner ZT GmbH to be the winner of a complex and unique gastronomic commission.
The commissioning was prepared and carried out by landscape architects and the gastronomy consultant Ingo Wessel (hospitality development) and was commissioned by the city of Überlingen. A total of three firms where asked to submit entries.
The task was divided into two parts. Create a permanent gastronomy centre for the Uferpar, while simultaneously delivering a temporary restaurant pavilion of the district of Bodenseekreis that can accommodate and supply large catering needs during the Landesgartenschau 2020.
