Winner of the Schmiedberger Boutique Hotel

The Schmiedberger Boutique Hotel is located in Tirol, in the centre of the vibrant and popular area of Kitzbühel. Embedded in the mountainous range of Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbüheler Horn, one can enjoy the unique secluded, distinctive alpine vistas the location allows.

Guests can reach the central reception area via an attractive lobby. There is a direct connection from the reception area to the spacious outdoor terrace over the lounge, as well as to the breakfast room and the spa areas. Starting from the central reception hub, the fitness area and the wellness and sports medicine centre are in the southern part of the building. In the northern part of the hotel building you will find access the breakfast and seminar rooms. The necessary feeling of intimacy, required in these particular areas because of their function, has been delivered in the formulaic design of the space. Direct daylight also adds the visual screen affect.

The residential complex in the south-west facing, five-storey building, is accessible via a separate stairwell, with a lift, from the underground car park and the south-facing entrance area. This ensures the privacy of the residents.

Both the premier shop and wine merchants are accessible on the ground floor, both retail spaces are for use by the public and for hotel guests. To accommodate this they have been integrated in the southern part of the building.

The total complex accommodates 102 beds. The upper floors 1-4 in the north and the upper floors 2-3 in the southern building section offer the hotel guests a generous and unique room layout with a luxurious ambience. Each room has a south-facing terrace. Accessibility is of particular importance throughout the design.
