Work with us
What moves us?
We consider the development of sustainable and ecological buildings in connection with innovative timber construction to be our core competence, and this inspires and challenges us again and again. Our architecture is deeply rooted in the cultural landscape. We are part of it yet we know we will never master it, we feel a duty to know and understand this. Our work rides the tension between the past, everyday building culture and handed-down craft traditions, in which experience and innovation are in a lively debate. The implementation of new projects and the careful reworking of existing buildings are equally familiar and important to us.
»With our work we are making a contribution to the building culture. We do this by carefully handling the fabric of a building, caring for what is worth preserving and creating new living and working environments that are as resource-efficient as possible.«

A lot of responsibility and trust are placed on you everyday, and I really appreciate the ongoing exchanges and support you can get from within the team. As part of HK Architects, you experience the whole spectrum of modern timber construction and at the same time you can delve into your own interests. Working with long-term, local and international partners and clients means that everyday work is always exciting and varied. That always motivates me take on new tasks and projects.«

Further education and training are promoted because we value our employees and the entire team always benefits from professional development.

A well-equipped kitchen with a sunny terrace is available to all colleagues, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and sweets are provided to liven the spirit and strengthen concentration on those long working days.
We are committed to a sustainable, future-proof way of life and support employees who use bicycles, e-mobility or public transport. We actively support the project ‘Spagat’ from the Institute for Social Services, by providing a workplace for the professional integration of young people with a higher need for support.
We offer a permanent employment relationship, which is remunerated through the collective agreement depending on qualifications and performance.
